About Us 

‘Kerala News’ was launched as a Quarterly Magazine in 2007, to cater to the ever-growing Malayali population in the US, primarily in the Florida region. The Magazine fulfils the needs of every Malayali, to understand and communicate each other, as a helping hand to settle down in a place away from home and serving news from every corner. 

The changing culture and technological advancements in the media, forced us to get into the Web World, so that we can reach out to the non-resident Keralite community in length and breadth. We could, thus, expand our horizon from a local media to rest of the cities of the US as well as other countries, where Keralites are settled down. We earnestly wish to make this as a Global Community Site for Non-Resident Keralites, wherein the socio-cultural interaction among Malayali community across the universe happens. Though a humble beginning, we nurture the dream of making it a forum for like-minded souls, certainly with your blessings and co-operation. 

The Team 

‘ESSJAY Group Inc.’, the publishers of ‘Kerala News’, was founded by Sunil Thymattam, who too ventured out looking for green pastures across the seven seas. Having years of experience as a Journalist, back in Kerala, the desire to launch a vernacular magazine was more than a business proposition, but an urge to serve the non-resident Keralite community. Thus the ‘Kerala News USA’ Magazine was taken shape and incidentally, well received by the community.  

The Managing Editor, Manoj Jacob (popularly known as ‘MJ’), has been in the media and advertising industry for more than two decades. Currently based in Dubai as Director – Marketing of Delta Group, which is engaged in printing, publishing and allied industries of advertising, he carries a wealth of knowledge in media.  

Biju Jacob, the Director – Sales, is well-known in space selling and Public Relation circle of Kerala. He runs a successful PR Agency called ‘Business Relations’ in Cochin, which offers services to national and international Clients.
